Privacy Policy

Fractal Futures collects only what it needs to run your account: the email you sign up with, your learning progress, and any trades or notes you choose to log. We also record basic technical data (device, browser, and approximate location from your IP) to keep the service secure and working.

We use this information to run and improve the product: to sign you in, save your progress and journal, process your purchase, respond to support requests, and protect against fraud and abuse. We do not sell your personal data, and we never share your journal entries or trade history with third parties for their own marketing. While you are signed in, we also note which days you open the app and about how many minutes you spend actively using it each day. We keep this in our own database, linked to your account, to see whether people come back. It uses no cookies and is not shared with anyone.

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your language and theme. We also use optional product analytics to understand how the app is used and improve it. Where consent is legally required, such as in the EU and UK, analytics cookies are set only after you accept our consent banner. Until you choose, we count page visits without cookies and without storing anything on your device. Our analytics provider derives a temporary, anonymous identifier from your IP address and browser; it changes every day and cannot be linked to you or your account. Each visit counted this way also records the country you are visiting from, as a two-letter code such as ES. Your IP address itself is not kept. If you accept analytics and are signed in, what we measure is linked to your account ID, never your name or email, together with your language, the date you signed up, the campaign that brought you and whether you have bought a plan, so we can see where people get stuck. With the same consent we may record how you move through the public pages and the lessons (clicks, scrolling, the pages you open) to find what confuses people. Everything you type is hidden in these recordings, and we never record your journal, dashboard, settings, community, billing or payment pages. We do this because we have a legitimate interest in knowing how many people visit which pages. If you decline, or turn analytics off in Settings, nothing is collected. In other regions analytics may run by default. We never use analytics to identify you to third parties, and you can ask us to turn them off by emailing privacy@fractal-futures.com.

If you accept advertising cookies, we use Meta's pixel and its Conversions API to measure our ads on Instagram and Facebook. Meta sets two cookies, _fbp and _fbc, that recognise your browser and the ad you came from. We also use the Google Ads tag to measure our ads on YouTube and Google. It sets cookies such as _gcl_au, and we keep the ad-click identifier Google adds to the link (gclid), so a sign-up or purchase can be matched to the ad that led to it. When you sign up, start a checkout or pay, we tell Meta and Google that it happened. Your email address and account ID are sent scrambled (hashed), never in readable form, together with your browser's IP address and type. Meta uses this to tell us which ads work and to show our ads to people like you. Where consent is legally required, such as in the EU and UK, none of this happens unless you accept cookies in our consent banner, which covers analytics and advertising together. In other regions it may run by default. You can turn it off any time in Settings, under Data, which stops it and deletes those cookies, or by emailing privacy@fractal-futures.com. Meta and Google handle this data under their own privacy policies.

We send the emails your account needs: confirming it, password resets and receipts. We only send news and offers about the course if you say yes, with the box when you sign up, when we ask in the app, or in Settings. We keep a record of when and how you said yes. Every one of those emails has a link to unsubscribe, and you can turn them off in Settings at any time.

We share data only with the processors that run our infrastructure: hosting, email delivery, analytics and payments, and Meta and Google for advertising if you allow it. Each is bound by contract to protect it and use it only on our instructions.

Some links and discount codes on this site are affiliate links to third-party services: prop firms, and trading platforms or tools such as charting and brokerage software. If you follow one, that company may set its own cookies and receive limited referral data so the deal can be attributed to us. Their handling of your data is governed by their privacy policy, not ours.

When you report something, or someone reports you, we keep a copy of what was reported so we can still review it if it is edited or deleted later. That copy holds the text, any images or voice notes, and, for a profile, the username, tagline, bio and picture. Only our team can see it. The email that tells us about a new report carries only its type and a link, never the reported content. We delete the copies 180 days after we close the report, or within a day of closing it if the account that posted the content has been deleted. We keep a short record of each report (who reported whom, when, the reason and what we did) so we can spot repeat abuse.

Your journal entries and trade data belong to you. You can access, export, correct, or delete them at any time from your account settings, and you can ask us to delete your whole account by emailing privacy@fractal-futures.com. We keep account data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal and accounting obligations.

If you have only joined the waitlist, the only things we hold are your email address, the language you used, and the exact wording you agreed to when you gave it. Every email we send you carries a one-click unsubscribe link that deletes the address immediately — you do not need to ask us, and nothing is kept behind. You can also email privacy@fractal-futures.com and we will delete it for you.

If you buy the course, we record which lessons you open: the lesson and the date you first opened it, nothing more. We use this only to apply our refund policy fairly, since that policy depends on how much of the course you have opened. You can see this data in your account, and it is never used for advertising or shared with anyone.

Fractal Futures is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us data, contact us and we will remove it.
